About Us

Carolyn Doyle joined Northwell Health in 2014 to establish FlexStaff, a comprehensive system-wide contingent staffing organization. She has extensive knowledge and 20+ years of recruitment expertise in the staffing industry, holding senior leadership positions at regional, national, and international staffing firms. Under her leadership, FlexStaff has grown to become a dynamic and innovative national staffing organization that employs thousands of employees. Outside of work, Carolyn enjoys spending time with her family, running and crafting.

Jacquelyn Morales started as a staffing specialist with Northwell Health in 2005. She joined FlexStaff in 2015 and oversees FlexStaff operations for recruitment and staffing, working with both teams to source, hire and staff talented individuals to fill short and long-term requests within Northwell Health. She takes pride in knowing the work she does with her team has a positive impact on patient care every day. Jacquie has a degree in culinary arts and loves cooking for her family and friends. She also enjoys singing with her worship team during her free time.

Miosotis Ventura joined Northwell Health in 2006, gaining experience in talent acquisition across various roles. She joined FlexStaff in 2014 as a project manager and in 2023, she was promoted to senior director of the on-boarding, compliance, and admin/processing teams. She earned an MBA in Management, and her expertise is in developing and enhancing new processes, building workflows, and designing new systems. When not at work, Mio spends her free time with her family, and her beloved dogs, Legend and Nyla. She has also recently acquired a new hobby of training and fitness.

Signe Slomski joined the FlexStaff team in 2019 as director to lead an innovative clinical staffing program. She has extensive experience in the healthcare staffing industry from her initial start with a national vendor management services provider and then subsequently joining a large staffing agency where she was responsible for its workforce solutions in the Northeast. In her current role, Signe is responsible for the management and operations of the Managed Service Provider program that supports Northwell Health’s contingent labor needs. When not working, Signe enjoys gardening, hiking, and exploring wine country or you can find her on the water boating off the shores of Long Island and the Florida Keys!

Elaine Strauss joined FlexStaff in 2021 as a director, with over 18 years of recruitment experience, to develop and lead the Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) and Advanced Clinical Provider (ACP) teams. The RPO team provided recruitment and onboarding support for Northwell Health. Prior to joining FlexStaff, Elaine spent seven years working in Northwell Health’s Talent Acquisition department. Her passion to help others led Elaine to develop and facilitate several courses at Northwell Health’s Center for Learning and Innovation. Before joining Northwell, Elaine worked at various staffing agencies and specialized in recruitment, staffing, business development, and management. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, live music, and beach yoga.

Betty May joined FlexStaff in 2016 after working for 25 years at Northwell’s Cohen Children’s Medical Center, a Magnet-designated hospital in NYC. She brings expertise in staffing, clinical quality and performance improvement and technology initiatives. Betty currently oversees FlexStaff payroll and technology projects. When not at work, Betty enjoys spending time with her family, especially her five grandchildren, and playing the guitar and singing in church.

Stefanie Williams joined FlexStaff in 2017 as a recruiter for the CORE division which provides recruitment, onboarding and staffing for Northwell Health’s clerical needs. In 2019, she was promoted to a manager, working closely with Northwell hiring managers to staff their clerical temp needs, and eventually took on her current role, senior recruitment manager, responsible for managing the FlexStaff recruitment team for both clerical and clinical hires. When not at work, Stefanie enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She loves to cook for her family and read.

Tara DeNatale joined FlexStaff in 2015 and after managing the clerical division for five years, she transitioned to project manager to oversee the various projects for all of FlexStaff’s divisions. She began her career as a laboratory technician and then made the leap to the staffing industry where she has been working now for the past 10+ years. Tara enjoys spending time with her husband, son, daughter, and two dogs, and also likes to read and exercise.

Sue Masi joined the FlexStaff team in 2019 as a manager for the Commercial Staffing division, which provides recruitment services for clients outside of Northwell Health. Prior to working with FlexStaff, Sue was an area manager for the NY market of a national staffing company with branch operations on Long Island, Westchester County, and Stamford, CT. She has a strong focus on continuous improvement and customer satisfaction, through building and maintaining relationships with customers, business leaders, and corporate management, and is an active member of SHRM (Strategic Human Resources Management). During her spare time, Sue loves spending time with her husband, her two grown children, and her three dogs. Sue has always been a passionate athlete and still loves to play lacrosse, run, and do hot yoga!

Sheri Ditzel joined the FlexStaff team in 2019 as a recruiting manager for the Commercial Staffing division, which provides recruitment services for clients outside of Northwell Health. She has a demonstrated track record in the candidate recruitment process with 20+ years of staffing experience, working for some of the top leaders in the staffing industry. Sheri is also an active member of SHRM (Strategic Human Resources Management). In her leisure, Sheri loves to spend time with her husband, go shopping and to the theatre with her daughter, and see her son play college baseball. To keep a sound mind and body, Sheri has taken up Pilates and spin class.
